Seventh Star Studios Announces Larry Alan Vires as Thorvald in Rayden Valkyrie TV Pilot!

Seventh Star Studios is proud to announce Larry Alan Vires as Thorvald in the TV Pilot Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart!

Larry will portray Thorvald, a young village boy who is swept up with a number of other captives by brigands intent on selling them into slavery.  When the legendary heroine Rayden Valkyrie’s band of mercenaries catches up with the brigands, a great tragedy strikes in Thorvald’s life that forces him to face far more than any young boy should ever have to.

The world Thorvald inhabits is featured in Stephen Zimmer’s sword and sorcery novel Heart of a Lion. The story in the TV pilot is not an adaptation of the novel, but rather an original storyline envisioned to be the foundation for a series of episodes filled with the adventures of Rayden’s war band.

“Larry Alan Vires may be the youngest member of our cast, but he has a real toughness about him that goes well beyond his years,” Director/Screenwriter Stephen Zimmer said. “Very athletic and disciplined, Larry has the elements needed to shine onscreen.  I am very excited to have this outstanding young fellow aboard with us!”

Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart is scheduled for production late spring on locations in Kentucky and represents the first visual media project for Seventh Star Studios, a division of Seventh Star Press, a publisher of speculative fiction based out of Lexington, Kentucky.

About Larry: Larry Alan Vires is an actor, athlete, and student at Tate’s Creek Middle School in Lexington Kentucky. Active in archery and lacrosse at his school, Larry enjoys the outdoors, including pursuits such as hunting and fishing. With a great interest in action and fantasy genre movies and books, Larry is looking forward to his television debut in Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart.
