Seventh Star Studios is proud to announce Adi Gossman as Gunnhild in the TV Pilot Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart!
Adi will portray Gunnhild, the young daughter of Astrid, who are both taken captive by a group of brigands intent on selling them into slavery. When a mercenary band led by the heroine Rayden Valkyrie catches up to the brigands, Gunnhild finds herself separated from her mother. A choice filled with danger looms before Gunnhild, and she will have to summon up courage far beyond her years.
The world Gunnhild inhabits is featured in Stephen Zimmer’s sword and sorcery novel Heart of a Lion. The story in the TV pilot is not an adaptation of the novel, but rather an original storyline envisioned to be the foundation for a series of episodes filled with the adventures of Rayden’s war band.
“Adi is one of the youngest members of our cast, but she exhibits a dedication toward acting that rivals those with lots of experience,” Director/Screenwriter Stephen Zimmer said. “Adi is going to match up very well with Megan O’ Mooney, who plays her mother Astrid in our project. She has a very bright future in the creative arts and we are very excited to have her aboard with us.”
Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart is scheduled for production late spring on locations in Kentucky and represents the first visual media project for Seventh Star Studios, a division of Seventh Star Press, a publisher of speculative fiction based out of Lexington, Kentucky.
About Adi: Adi is a high school student born and raised in Northern Kentucky.
