Seventh Star Studios Announces Scott Nova for Role of Alaric in Rayden Valkyrie TV Pilot!

Seventh Star Studios is proud to announce Scott Nova as Alaric in the TV Pilot Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart!

 

Scott will portray Alaric, a tough warrior of the north who found a mentor in the legendary Ragnar Stormbringer.  When both of them become part of a mercenary group that includes the heroine Rayden Valkyrie, Alaric begins a dangerous journey that will challenge him to become more than he ever thought he would be .

The world Alaric inhabits is featured in Stephen Zimmer’s sword and sorcery novel Heart of a Lion. The story in the TV pilot is not an adaptation of the novel, but rather an original storyline envisioned to be the foundation for a series of episodes filled with the adventures of Rayden’s war band.

Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart is scheduled for production late spring on locations in Kentucky and represents the first visual media project for Seventh Star Studios, a division of Seventh Star Press, a publisher of speculative fiction based out of Lexington, Kentucky.

About Scott: Scott is an internationally-known actor, model, bodybuilder and strength competitor whose face has appeared on over 225 book covers. A skilled martial artist who maintains a high level of fitness, Scott is well-suited for roles involving heavy action and stunts. Having a foundation in theater, Scott’s transition to the screen went through the route of high-production value book trailers, including several produced by Sheila English. Scott has also been a pro body builder, and currently competes in powerlifting and Scottish Highlander heavy games.

Seventh Star Studios Announces Erik Kyr for Role of Ingvar in Rayden Valkyrie TV Pilot!

Seventh Star Studios is proud to announce Erik Kyr as Ingvar in the TV Pilot Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart!

Erik will portray Ingvar, a warrior out of the far north, who has taken a mercenary path that eventually leads to him joining a war band led by the heroine Rayden Valkyrie. A tough warrior who has survived many lethal threats, Ingvar will face his deadliest foes yet when Rayden’s group pursues a number of brigands into an ancient forest.

About Erik: Erik Kyr is an actor, screen writer, musician, song writer and composer from Louisville, Ky. Erik started on stage in his youth with full productions in high school. After high school he continued in faith based and community productions. He started in film in 2015 with 4 full features and 3 short films to date. Relentless hard work and dedication are key factors in his approach to every project.

Erik has played in many types of bands. Starting at the age of 11 where he began learning music. Erik is an award winning composer with multiple recordings within his musical career.

Seventh Star Studios is proud to announce Lyon Beckwith as Cartholo in the TV Pilot Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart!

Lyon will portray Cartholo, a fearsome warrior from the lands of the Kartagen Empire whose adventures have taken him far distances, to where he eventually joins a mercenary band led by the iconic warrior Rayden Valkyrie.  Their hunt of a group of slavers takes Cartholo on a perilous journey into an ancient forest; one holding dangers far greater than brigands.

About Lyon: Lyon Beckwith was born in Baltimore city where he always found himself playing the Hero in real life because he couldn’t stand the thought of people less fortunate or different being picked on. Feeling like he had this responsibility, Lyon thought it was a good idea to get in the gym if he was going to be going up against these bullys. In turn, he became the bully’s bully, not knowing at the time that this new size and look would translate great on the big screen, which has now become his happy space. Lyon often plays the Bad Guy, due to his menacing look, but couldn’t be more opposite in person; but he still adopts the phrase, “Best Bad Guy money can buy.”

Seventh Star Studios is proud to announce Megan O’Mooney as Astrid in the TV Pilot Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart!

Megan will portray Astrid, a village woman with a young daughter who are both swept up in a raid by brigands who intend to sell their captives into slave markets.  When a mercenary group led by the heroine Rayden Valkyrie hunts down the brigands, Astrid finds herself on a journey she never imagined; one that will challenge her to discover the strength and courage inside her.

About Megan: Megan O’Mooney is a film actress and model.

A Kentucky native, Megan is a dynamic & passionate individual with great potential to be highly successful as an actress. She signed with her first agency at a young age, where she learned the fundamentals of acting & modeling. Megan soon developed a love of acting and began working in theater, where she was recognized with the award for Best New Actress. As she grew as an individual, Miss Mooney also grew as an actress, cultivating her talents through continued training. She has since gained experience working as both lead and supporting roles in feature films.

Seventh Star Studios is proud to announce Nathan Day as Markos in the TV Pilot Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart!

Nathan will portray Markos, a warrior from a land brimming with myth and legend whose travels far and wide has brought him into the mercenary band led by the heroine Rayden Valkyrie.  Though well-liked by comrades and honorable, Markos is a lethal adversary to those who come against him.  When the mercenaries hunt down a group of slavers who have taken a number of captives in a raid, he embarks on a journey that will test the limits of his strength and courage.

The world Markos inhabits is featured in Stephen Zimmer’s sword and sorcery novel Heart of a Lion. The story in the TV pilot is not an adaptation of the novel, but rather an original storyline envisioned to be the foundation for a series of episodes filled with the adventures of Rayden’s war band.

About Nathan: Nathan has appeared in over 40 film and television productions including Murder By Numbers, Stash, The Devil’s A Lie, Ruination, The Legacy, Shadows Light and many more as an actor.  He is just as comfortable in the producer’s and director’s chairs, such as in Bulletsong, which he also wrote. Cast most often for his diverse, immersive and often very physical acting style, Nathan dives deep in his characters’ history and mentality to add depth from beyond the page. He enjoys taking on new and challenging roles that insist he step away from his typically introverted persona, especially as part of an ensemble cast such as Rayden Valkyrie: Saga of a Lionheart.

Outside of film and television Nathan is a novelist and blogger. His first published work, Orphan: Surfacing, releases in August of 2017. Nathan is also a singer, songwriter, music producer and composer, having produced in several musical genres as well as film scoring. Nathan enjoys taking in stories from all mediums and is an avid gamer, but mostly fights between his many endeavors to spend more time with his wife and two kids. Nathan is represented by The Gage Talent Agency.
